Giveaway of the Day is a site that each day has an item of commercial software available for free download. They’re a site worth bookmarking and checking to see what's available. It's a nice idea and occasionally their giveaway is something you might have be tempted to buy with real money.  Occasionally it’s a clear miss of the sort of “why would I possibly ever need to do that?” variety.
