Gmail engineers are allowed to work on their own “skunk works” project 20% of their time, which is the source of many of the recent experimental enhancements to Gmail through the Google Labs feature.
The newest feature which arrived through this route is the ability to apend your City Region and Country to your Gmail signature. At the least, it will make for possible interesting reading to those that receive your emails, at best it could be usefully informative for people always on the move.
