What’s that mean? Get the definition fast

definr Sometime you’re sitting at your desk and you want to know what a word means and want it fast.  That’s when you need Definr.com.  Definr calls itself an “incredibly fast dictionary” and they’re right.

Very simple, too. Just enter the word to be defined and your definition is sitting there in the time that it takes to hit the return key.

    Jon, You're right, Google will give you a definition by using the define:(word) syntax in a Google search box.

    Definr has added to their capability by allowing you to add definr as a search engine in Firefox or use a bookmarklet to define words on a web page.

  • With even less clicking, I can type "define: (word)" into my Google toolbar. Isn't this a little redundant?
