The applications themselves are very feature-rich and can be compared favorably to commercial desktop applications doing the same core function.
It can’t be overemphasized the convenience of having these applications available online which doesn’t require any installation, backing up, is available at home and at work and can be used on any computer with Internet and a browser. And is free.
Zoho applications, like Google Docs, takes advantage of Google Gears which allow them to work when offline. Zoho also offers a plug-in to Microsoft Word and Excel that allow them to work together seamlessly. This can be convenient if you have Microsoft Office at work but don’t want it at home.
All-in-all, Zoho is a very good deal and a great way to have access to online applications to help you be productive at the office and at home.
